Happy Holidays!

Nicole Miller Top
Nadri Earrings

The holidays are upon us! How quickly time passes by right? With everything happening so quickly it's important to slow down, relax and spend these specials times with the ones you love. With all the festivities that are coming up that means it acquires getting a little dolled up (for me at least!) and today I would like to share you my make up look that I will be wearing this Christmas.

I knew I wanted a festive look but also a look that would be long lasting. So, with-out a doubt I went for my Expert Last Lip Lacquer in the color Rockaway Ruby. I love that it can handle a night of food and drinks and the color stays on my lips! On my eyes I have on the 24HR Waterproof Eye Shadow in Brooklyn Mocha and Big Bold Angel Lash Mascara to make my eyes appear larger. To finish off the look, I applied 2 coats of the Long Wearing Nail Enamel in the color Broadway Burgundy Frost.

What do you girls think of this look? Let me know in the comments below.

This concludes my last blog post in 2015!
I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday and I look forward to a New Year with you all!

Lots of love,
Maria

The Mountains Are Calling

Thrifted skirt

I went to Vermont last weekend to get away from the craziness of the city and it felt amazing to be surrounded by trees and mountains. The weather was colder up North and made me realize how Winter is right around the corner and with the days being shorter, our skin is naturally getting little less sun. But that doesn’t mean our glow has to fade away! Lately I have been using my Smooth Skin 2 in 1 Compact Foundation and Concealer and my Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder to help me stay radiant. I’m a no fuss kind of girl so I find these products easy to apply and it last all day. To complete the look I used my Big Bold Curl Mascara, the HD Automatic Waterproof eyeliner and my Smooch Proof Liquid lip stain. What are some tips and products you use to keep your glow thought the colder months? Let me know in the comments section below!

Faux Love

Forever 21 turtle neck
Lulu's skirt (I made it a mini skirt)
Lulu's faux fur vest
Angela Roi Purse
Aerosoles booties
As the weather is becoming a bit colder, I'm trying to find perfect pieces to transition in to my Fall/Winter wardrobe. I found this faux fur vest from Lulu's and Aerosoles booties that I felt where easy to style.  Since the booties are from Aerosoles you know that not only are they cute but they are super comfortable (Yes, to #fashionthatfeelsgood)! I joined in on their style-off competition that they are hosting on their Facebook page HERE.

Voting starts November 16th!

Back-To-School Outfit

Cardigan- Mudd
Necklaces- Mudd
Boots- Simply Vera
Vintage back pack

Hey lovelies!
So some of you are heading back-to-school and I thought I'd do a post to help inspire your outfit for your first day. With the help of Kohl's I was able to shop for the perfect outfit that I thought would be great for a first day. When I'd have my first day of school during college I would still get a little nervous, but when I had my outfit picked out, I already felt 10 times more confident. It's crazy how an outfit can have such powers right?

Kohl's literally has everything you need for back- to- school shopping and if you are like me I'm always shopping on a budget so I'm happy to say almost everything I'm wearing was on sale. Boo-yah!

Let me know in the comments what's your ideal back-to-school outfit and if you do anything to cure those first day jitters!

Summer in the City

Kersh top
Vintage skirt
Ix Style sandals  (with each pair bought they donate drinking water to children in Guatemala)
MCM clutch

As summer is slowly coming to an end, I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet. Summers in New York are the best but it goes by way too quickly. Considering we only get about 4 months of it! Do you guys have any end of Summer plans?

Make-Up:
I played with some color around my eyes with this look to brighten up my eyes. The smooth eyeliner stick glides so effortlessly that it makes doing my eye make-up a lot easier. There's also a smudging and sharpening tip at the end of the stick also did I mention it's waterproof?! This HD Automatic Eyeliner (in #004) is one of the best and doesn't break the bank.

Since I've gotten a little more tan over the summer I now use my Sun 'N Bronze Bronzing Powder  (in #707) which I lightly apply on top of my foundation. And to finish it all off I apply my favorite Smooch Proof Lip-Stain (in #100) that doesn't melt off with the summer heat and my Show Time Volumizing Mascara
(in #844).
What are your go to summer make-up tips?
