If you follow me on Instagram you guys might have seen this outfit on there a couple of weeks ago, and I can't believe it has taken me this long to post it here!
I took these photos on a really warm Sunday afternoon and it felt great to be wearing just a dress! (*Gasp* No tights!). This dress was given to me by the lovely ladies over at Lisa and Lucy. Their new spring collection is everything! I literally want e v e r y t h i n g! And the necklace was a gift from The Giving Keys. They're an amazing company that help men and women transition out of homeless-ness by making jewelry out of repurposed keys (I have the lock as seen above). Simply amazing right? Check them out- you won't be sorry!
A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to visit Beauty 35in NYC. Beauty 35 is a beauty supply store like no other, and you have to see it to believe it. When I say they have everything a girl needs, I mean it! They were nice enough to give me some samples to try for myself and I could't wait to try them. The first product I used was TruCurl shampoo and conditioner. A lot of you might not know that I have naturally curly hair since I'm pretty sure this is the first time I'm showing my curly hair on my blog! What do you guys think?
If you are in the NYC area make sure to visit them for all your beauty needs!
This post was sponsored by Beauty35 but all opinions are my own.
It's been a while since the last time I updated my blog. As the new year rolled in, I found it a bit more difficult to fit my blog into my schedule. But have no fear, I've managed to make more time to this ol' thing and I'm excited to get back to it!
Recently, I went to hair salon O&M- they are an Australian based salon and they invited me to their NYC flag ship to get a hair update. I got my bangs trimmed and a hair gloss that also tones your hair for up to 6 weeks! I was a little nervous at first but I'm so happy that I did! In the 4th picture above you can see the touches of red-ish brown, It's subtle but I love it. I would highly recommend this salon if your in the NYC area. Below see some photos of the stunning space.
The holidays are upon us! How quickly time passes by right? With everything happening so quickly it's important to slow down, relax and spend these specials times with the ones you love. With all the festivities that are coming up that means it acquires getting a little dolled up (for me at least!) and today I would like to share you my make up look that I will be wearing this Christmas.
I went to Vermont last weekend to get away from
the craziness of the city and it felt amazing to be surrounded by trees and
mountains. The weather was colder up North and made me realize how Winter
is right around the corner and with the days being shorter, our skin is naturally
getting little less sun. But that doesn’t mean our glow has to fade away! Lately I have been using my Smooth Skin 2 in 1 Compact Foundation and Concealer and my Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder to help me stay radiant. I’m a no fuss kind of
girl so I find these products easy to apply and it last all day. To complete the look I used my Big Bold Curl Mascara, the HD Automatic Waterproof eyelinerand my Smooch Proof Liquid lip stain. What are some
tips and products you use to keep your glow thought the colder months? Let me
know in the comments section below!
