City Proof

So as some of you may know, back in December I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology! It's been pretty surreal being done with school and looking for a job in what I majored in but I was lucky enough to find a perfect job in just a couple of weeks after graduation! Look out Fashion world, there's a new girl in the industry!

So now with my new busy schedule, (work, meetings, blogging, etc.) it calls for make-up and outfits that can endure a long day. Lucky enough for me I was able to try some new products from New York Color that last 24hr! In this post I used taupe and white waterproof eyeshadow to make a soft brown color on my eyes. Topped it off with 24hr city proof mascara and I was out the door! I would definetly recommend checking out all the wonderful colors they have, and since each one is priced at $2.99 you can't go wrong.
Until next time!

Valentine's day- some people love the day others loathe it. Personally, I think showing your love to the people you care about most shouldn't be restricted to one day, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Since I'll be doing some kissing on Valentine's Day I was lucky enough to try out this new lip stain by New York Color, It's called Smooch Proof Liquid Sip Stain and it goes on glossy and dries matte. I love how long lasting the stain is and the name doesn't lie, it really is smooch proof take a look below!

Blush in Central Park Pink that I seriously wear everyday...

See you lovelies in my next post!

City Laundry X New York Color

Hello lovelies!
I'm starting the New Year with an awesome new collaboration with New York Color! I shot this web commercial with them back in May and I'm so happy to finally share it with you guys! We shot in a couple of different locations around NYC (recognize any of them?) and you get to take a little peak into my world and hear my thoughts about this awesome city.
So as far as the collab- I'll be mixing beauty with fashion instead of just having my blog only focused on fashion. Which to me is exciting because beauty is kind of a new world to me and I'm excited to explore it with you guys. It'll be an interesting to say the least and I hope you guys enjoy and stick around for more to come!

Welcome

Welcome Fall & welcome to my apartment!
Here's a little peak into my home as I get ready to class and some of my go to pieces for long days at school.

 Old Navy overalls (super comf!)
Urban Outfitters t-shirt
Vans slip on sneakers (perfect for long days and walking around campus.)
Harveys seatbelt backpack (also comfortable and super stylish, I get plenty of compliments.)
Larsson & Jennings watch (have to stay on schedule and a trusty watch is a must!)

I'm currently in my last semester at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the pressure is starting to weigh in on me. Balancing school, my internship (at Nicole Miller!!), home-work, boyfriend, part time job/blogging has not been an easy task and sometimes it's very easy for me to get overwhelmed. Sometimes I just have to take a step back and put things into perspective. I realize some of the things I've accomplished and the things I'm about to accomplish and suddenly I can kind of see a light at the end of the tunnel. Every late night studying and early mornings, I know is going to be worth it and I'm determined to finish my college career on a positive note. I know this post was long over due but sometimes things have to take the back seat for a bit... so I'd like to thank all my readers that have followed me through my journey and continue to check on this little blog every once in a while. It truly means a lot, you guys are the best and there's definetly more to come for y'all!

My Teen Vogue Back-to-School Shoot!

Hey Lovelies!
So as some of you may already know, this past Spring I had the awesome opportunity to work with Teen Vogue and be one of their models on their Back-To-School Saturday's campaign. When they asked me if I wanted to be a part of it how could I say no!? The campaign featured a couple of trends that will be sure to make any girl heading back to school look super stylish. My favorite trend is "Field Trip" because of the pretty pastel colors and the school girl vibe- that's basically all I ever dream of! The campaign was featured in the August issue (the one with Kesha on the cover) and it is also available on the Simon Mall website.  It was loads of fun working with Teen Vogue and the Simon Mall team and even though I was the oldest model there (both are still in high school and I'm about to graduate college!) I felt young and girly! Keep an eye out for more pics and details at you local Simon Mall and make sure to stop by if the tour stops near you!

Also there's a behind the scenes video of the photo shoot with some extra styling tips from Teen Vogue's fashion market editor Mary Kate Steinmiller below!

summer in the city

Hey guys!
So I'm one of those people who LOVE to wear sneakers in the summer. I don't know.. Some people find that weird or uncomfortable but I don't! I find that these Keds are the perfect summer sneakers because they have these cute cut-outs which make them feel airy and of course they are super comfy! I loved pairing them with my high waisted flared denim and off the shoulders frilly top to give it a laid back 70's vibe.
